Pula - A little tourist town in the South of Sardinia
The city of Pula is in the South of the island about 30km from the international airport in Cagliari. In the last few years tourism in Pula has really developed. The town is characterised by the Campidanesi houses which are built alongside shops, restaurants and bars in the tiny streets and alleys of the historical centre creating a pleasant atmosphere for walking and shopping. In the summer Pula offers a rich cultural programme including live jazz, ‘La notte dei poeti’ (The night of poets) which takes place in the Roman Ampitheatre in Nora. In Piazza del Popolo you can attend various concerts and folkloristic evenings. There are also the beautiful beaches of Nora, Santa Margherita, Chia, Capo Spartivento, Capo Malfantano, the perfect destination for surfers, scuba divers and anyone who loves nature.
